Race for the Cure - June 7th, Seattle

The Seahawks helped to cheer on the racers who ran or walked the course to help raise money for the Susan G Komen foundation. The team had a blast.

Seahawk Cheerleaders helped raise $2,800 at the local video store, Video HQ, for a charity called Child's Play.

With the help of hospital staff [at Seattle's Childrens

Hospital], we’ve [Child's Play] set up gift wish lists

full of video games, toys, and movies that sick children

wished for the holidays. Some of these kids are in

pretty bad shape. Imagine being stuck alone in a

hospital over the holidays with not a lot to do, getting

something would really raise their spirits.

Rock-N-Roll Marathon

June 27, 2009

The Seahawk Cheerleaders cheered on the 25,000

marathon and 1/2 marathon runners in Seattle. The

sunny event was fulled with shouts of encouragement

and love for Peninsula High School as runners charged

by.
